PORT JERVIS,NEW YORK
Our fire department made a great save here. There was very high winds and as you can see very cold temperatures. Considering the wind velocity, this whole block could have been involved but it appears as though the fire was confined to the one building . Great job by our fire department.
Men went without sleep for 24 hours and some for as many as 32 hours.Dedication to duty.Port
Jervis Ambulance and Regional EMS stood by in case someone was injured.
