These two pictures are of the old Drew Church before a fire destroyed it.This building was built
in 1868 and rebuilt in 1894 after almost complete destruction by a windstorm.Drew House,the parish house, was added in 1923. The postcard on the right was postmarked on
September 8, 1910.
On the left is the River Road connecting Sparrowbush with West End.On the right is the High
Point Inn overlooking Lake Marcia at High Point State Park.This building was left to disrepair
and was finally demolished,
This is the original Barrett Bridge which was
destroyed by  an ice gorge in  1875.

Believe it or not,this is the house that stands at the corner of Ferguson Avenue & Mary Street

On the left is Front Street in earlier days.Street is still dirt and you will note both motor cars and
horse and wagon.On the right is Pike Street many years later.Of course the movie theater building
was torn down and the building next to it collapsed due to weight of snow many years before.
