Port Jervis is a close knit, small city with nice people.We have mountains,rivers,golf courses,lakes and beautiful scenery.There is good fishing for bass,pickerel,pike and trout.Also panfish as well. We have campgrounds and RV Parks as well.

East Main Street School was on the site where Machagameck Apartments are now at the intersection of Jersey Avenue and East Main Street.I went to grades 1 thru 5 in this school in the 1930's.
This is the Flatiron Building at Graeb Point in the 30's and 40's.Kay's Lunch was at the point and Shields Brothers Tire was behind it.There were lawyers offices upstairs.Behind the Flatiron Building was the New Bauer Inn.
